SECOND ANNUAL FRIENDSHIP DINNER
Looking for a way to introduce your friends to Christ, but just can’t see an open door? To help you, we are hosting our second annual Friendship Dinner on Sunday, July 27, at 6 pm at the Sheraton Four Points Restaurant on Airport Road. Entertainment will be by “Calling Levi.” Start praying about whom you will invite. Tickets will go on sale in just a few weeks.

DAMARIS CARBAUGH CONCERT
A free family, benefit concert for Truth for Women with Damaris Carbaugh will be held on Friday, July 18th at 7 p.m. at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church. A free will offering will be taken. Volunteers Needed for Mailing
Volunteers are needed to help prepare Church Extension’s large summer mailing on Tuesday, July 1 from 9 a.m. to approximately noon at Calvary BFC in Coopersburg. Many hands make light work! If you are able to help, call Lisa Christensen.

There will be another opportunity to have your picture taken for the church directory. Call the church office to schedule an appointment on July 14 here at the church. WELCOME TO THE NODENS
We are glad to have David and Darlene Noden participating in our service today as representatives for Africa Inland Mission. They have served with AIM International in various capacities since 1966. Following 18 years of ministry in Kenya, they served as Regional Administrators in the Mid-Atlantic States from 1987 to the end of 2007. In this capacity Dave and Darlene were involved in nurturing both the LoRussos and Jason through all the areas of growth and challenge both before and after the candidate process for their previous service with AIM. It is very exciting for Dave and Darlene to see how the Lord is now leading the LoRussos and Jason to further service in Tz.

THANK YOU, DRAMA TEAM!
We want to express our deep appreciation to the members of the CCBFC Drama Team for all the time and effort they put in to promoting the “T” Project through their seven dinner-theatre presentations of “I Sat Among Them” over the past eight months. Not only did they raise a total of $12,000 towards the outgoing expenses of the “T” Team, but even more importantly, they greatly increased the level of interest and prayer involvement in the project. A special word of appreciation goes to Paul Reinhard for writing the drama and to Chuck Kalan for producing and directing it. Others who were involved (actors, cooks, costumes, sound, etc): Becky Boone, Barbara Carney, Maureen Carney, Rick Dean, Eliane deSouza, Liz Erb, Brian Gruber, Susan Kalan, Joel Klase, Sarah Klase, Ron Kohl, J.R. JUNIOR WORSHIP AND KIDS CONNECTION BEGINNING JULY 6TH!
Junior Worship for children ages 4 through 3rd grade will meet during the entire first service in the Chapel. Kids Connection for children ages 4 through 4th grade will meet during the entire second service in room 102 (ages 4 and 5) and the Chapel (1st through 4th grade). Check-in and Check-out: If you want your child to participate in Junior Worship or Kids Connection, please take them directly to the hallway leading to the Chapel for check-in. A responsible person and each child will receive a tag. The children will not be released without the proper tags returned at check-out. (Check-out for Junior Worship will be in the Chapel foyer.)

WITH THE LORD
On June 24 Melba Gehman went home to be the Lord at the age of 97. We extend our love and prayers to her son, Phil and his wife Sheila and granddaughters Tracy and Julianne.

NO SUNDAY SCHOOL IN JULY AND AUGUST
Just a reminder that due to the building project there will be no Sunday School classes during the months of July and August. The one exception will be an adult class in room 101 taught by Jack Riggall during the second service. The topic will be “Christ in the Psalms.”

PINEBROOK BIBLE CONFERENCE
Week 3 – 75th Summer Bible Conference
The concert on Saturday, July 5th will feature the very popular “Kings Army” starting at 7 p.m. The speaker for the week (7/6-10 at 7 p.m.) is Rev. Steve Cornell, a pastor from Millersville, PA, whose speaking style is very practical and engaging.

LEHIGH CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
LCA has an opening for an elementary/ middle school music teacher for the 2008-09 school year. Qualified applicants should be believers in the Lord Jesus Christ with a strong Christian testimony. Those applying should possess a four-year degree and experience working with children. Applicants can call the LCA office at 610-776-7301 for more information.

YOUTH GROUP MISSIONS TEAMS
Cedar Crest Youth Group is sending two missions teams to Morocco 2008; a VBS team June 27 - July 5 and a sports camp team July 4 - 12. Both teams will host the Summer Olympics for the village children. The teens on the first team are Adrianne Reinhard, Christy Mays, Leah Klase, Elizabeth Skinker, Elizabeth Erb, and Elizabeth Transue, and the leaders are Carl Wells, Cindy Smith, Carol Mrowka, and Sarah Klase. The teens on the second team are Gwen Rapp, Ben Schleicher, Lydia Boone, Sarah Boone, Nate Klase, and Alyssa Everett, and the leaders are Kelly Everett, Cliff and Becky Boone, and John Schleicher. Nelson Randolph and Jonathan King will be going with both teams.
